Ways to connect KDE to wireless

Recently there have been many newer editions of operating systems. Here are a few of the best features to look for. The KDE is coming forth with plasma 5. This has been slower when compared to cinnamon and the 26 other desktop environments which I highly recommend. Slant gives a review of KDE as being unstable and kdeinit locks up.

Should you need to work with KDE these following commands are invaluable:

killall plasma-desktop
kstart plasma-desktop

This is from the March 2017 lifewire story.

On the network manager side it is a disaster. Wicd is a command oriented alternative which seems to conflict. On opensuse there is xinitd. On debian based systems because one can use CENI.
